"We've been trying to find a professional Russian translator, and were trying to get back in touch with Reanimedia, without any success. In the meantime, Denis offered his services as a passionate fan, fan-subber, and also as a professional translator. We were impressed by his passion and dedication, and also because he translates directly from Japanese. But, we decided to ask our Kickstarter Russian backers before we made a final decision. So, yes, a few days ago, we sent an email to our Russian backers (sorry, it seems we missed you when we created the email list...)
Some people have been positive about hiring Denis, but other people, like you, are disappointed. But, we aren't having success in contacting Reanimedia, and we don't have any direct contact with Russian professional translators, so we didn't know what to do!
Fortunately, a few days ago, another Kickstarter backer from Russia gave us the direct contact info for one of Reanimedia's translators -- Nikolay Karaev. We got in touch with him yesterday, and are trying to work out his schedule. But he is out of town for a few days, and we won't have any news until later this week."
