By the way, how many of you guys like (or at least have tried once) Indian food? I guess not many, it's hard to find any in Russia, save any good stuff. I absolutely love Indian food, in my humble opinion it's the best food ever! When my favorite (and the only) Indian restaurant in my hometown got closed all of a sudden I was depressed for a couple months. How can one function and write well-maintainable code without some daal, rice, flatbreads, and a few curries in? Or do anything at all during the day without a masala dosa (or idly vada) for breakfast? The smell of spices and sauteed onions makes me wanna live for another day and see what gifts this journey called life will bring me next. And with rice, fresh flatbreads, and a lot of legumes and vegetables it's so fulfilling that you feel like you can do anything. The only problem is their extensive use of dairy products but as long as there are no communication issues it's no problem in places where they make stuff to order (as opposed to buffets and like), especially veg ones. Well, communication issues do happen although less frequently as in Thai places, for example. Luckily, all over SE Asia you can find an Indian restaurant on every single corner. In the place I live for now there are about four veg Indian places and, I think, I about a dozen non-veg ones in 5min riding distance (well, depends on traffic). And three of those four do delivery. In another place I used to live before there was that Indian neighborhood in ten minutes walking from my place with five or six veg restaurants on two very short alleys (all of them cheaper than here but no delivery, only takeouts). Maybe I should go to India or Nepal for some time for their food if not other reasons, my Indian friends even invited me to visit Mumbai... Too bad I don't really have time for vacation except, maybe, a few days around Christmas/New Year.
