Hah, I had my DL suspended because of a clerical error. When I paid $$$ to reinstate it, I got a new DL but the original error wasn't corrected. So they suspended my (new) DL again (without notifying me). I found out when pulled over for what would have been nothing, and I get a court date. I pay $$$ again to reinstate again so I can drive. The driving-without-a-licence charge makes it through the system, and my DL is suspended again. The case is dropped because the of the original error. I still have to pay to reinstate my DL three times plus pay court fees plus spend most of a weekday waiting in a courtroom.
